Further to the resignation of our councillor, Sophie Lavin, there is now a vacancy for a councillor in Cranage.
Sophie has been a big asset to the parish during her time as a councillor, having had the main role in co-ordinating the neighbourhood plan. She intends to continue to work as a volunteer for this project, but has had to resign from her role as Parish Council due to increased time commitments. The parish council are grateful for all her input and wish her well in the future.
VACANCY FOR A COUNCILLOR
There is a vacancy for a Councillor for the Parish of Cranage.
An election to fill the vacancy will be held if ten electors for the said Electoral area give notice to the Returning Officer requesting such an election within 14 days (excluding Saturdays Sundays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Good Friday or a Bank Holiday) of the date of this notice.
