The nationwide campaign to clean up the countryside for Her Majesty’s birthday celebrations got off to a good start in Cranage on Sunday when a clean-up team led by Councillor Lee Dooley of Cranage Parish Council and comprising fourteen Cranage residents, made the first of several attacks on litter spoiling the village.
A big pile of rubbish was collected using clean up kits kindly loaned by Cheshire East Council.

If you would like to take part in future clean-ups and get to know more villagers, information will be available on the notice boards and on the village website: www.cranageparishcouncil.co.uk. You can register on the website for automatic updates.
