Friday Round up
Cheshire East is full of countryside and hidden gems for us to go and explore! Our website has a range of suggested walks that are enjoyed by many.
The National Trust's top ten walks
Here you will find some breathtaking walks from around the UK.
Making memories and spending quality time with the people in your life is important, so why not do it over one of 'The National Trust's scenic walks'.
Or, if you were feeling a bit adventurous.....how about something like this over the pond in Canada?
Our Footpaths Toolkit
This helpful toolkit can guide you into making the countryside accessible. The Footpaths Toolkit is here to help you with your plan.
Public Rights of Way and the Law
Rights of way and development can cause concern for residents, this is because potential footpaths can be lost or modified. However, there are legal procedures which apply when rights of way are affected by development.

Canals
The Canal network has a long history. Without it England would not have been the industrial powerhouse it once was. If it wasn't for some visionary volunteers in the 1960's we might not have the network we have today. You can help keep this watery highway running and join the Towpath Taskforce.
Footpaths to Fitness
Discover the countryside on your doorstep...bird-spotting, wildflowers, lovely views and lungs full of fresh air. Why wouldn't you want to see what Cheshire East has to offer.
In the Spotlight
New listings have been announced to mark the 70th anniversary of the legislation that helped preserve the country's finest structures.
And 70 years on, has the planning system delivered it's Utopian dream? Have a listen to Will Self's 'Seventy Years in the Planning'.
